Mathis adore la lecture, mais il n'aime pas les mathématiques, car dans sa tête, les nombres se mélangent sans cesse. D'après l'orthophoniste, la dame qui l'aide à comprendre les nombres, Mathis est dyscalculique. C'est la raison pour laquelle les mathématiques sont si compliquées pour lui ! Mais avec beaucoup de persévérance et quelques stratégies, il parvient malgré tout à surmonter ses difficultés.
